When Galvin Green made the decision to concentrate exclusively on the game of golf in 1990, the wet-weather apparel market it entered was very different to today’s. Waterproofs were heavy and unwieldy rain suits that restricted your swing, came in just a few uninspiring colours - mostly black and navy - and didn’t always keep out the rain! Founder Tomas Nilsson saw a gap in the market for a new type of waterproof clothing combining style with performance. He invested in the best waterproof technology, incorporating the famous GORE-TEX® laminate and created smart, colorful and technically advanced outerwear that utilized the latest fabrics and components. 

Today they have a broad range of high performance golfwear designed for golfers who do not compromise on style or comfort. The key to comfort is layering, breathability and moisture managment. Our design philosophy is based on the Multi-Layer Concept. By combining the right materials in the right way, it helps the golfer to increase comfort and performance regardless of the weather conditions.
