Golf may be entering its “frost delay” in most of the country, but there’s still plenty to be thankful for this November. Between mind-blowing tech that keeps us swinging year-round, a wild finish to the PGA Tour season, and new ways to show your team pride on and off the course, there’s no shortage of things to talk about while we polish up the putters for winter.

1. TGL Season 2 is Coming – And We’re All In
Circle December 28th. TGL—Tiger’s high-tech, indoor golf league—is back, and honestly, we’re fired up. Imagine the world’s biggest simulator, tour-level shotmaking, and a format built for prime-time drama. More rounds are being played on sims than on actual courses these days, and the technology just keeps getting better (and more affordable). Prediction: Tiger drops the hammer this season. Don’t miss it.
2. Are Hybrids Officially… Over?
Golf trends run in cycles, but this one is wild: 7-woods and even 9-woods are exploding on tour and absolutely flying off our shelves. And for good reason—these clubs launch easier, land softer, and are simply friendlier to real golfers with real swings.
I’ve sat through every single 2026 product presentation, and let me tell you… the 7-woods coming next year are going to make a lot of amateurs very, very happy.
Now if we could only convince more golfers to embrace cavity-back wedges and chippers… we’d all lower our handicaps overnight.
3. Limited Release Gear = Big Time Buzz
The manufacturers know exactly what they’re doing—create something gorgeous, make almost none of them, and golfers lose their minds (we’re golfers… we get it).
