Our golf putters for sale

We offer an expansive range of men's and women's putters from the world's most trusted craftsman, including Scotty Cameron, Odyssey, PING, TaylorMade, and Bettinardi.

  • Traditional blades: Ideal for players who prize touch and finesse, offering superb feel and control for nuanced putts.
  • Modern mallets: Designed for stability with high forgiveness to keep the face square, perfect if you want something that offers a bit of assistance to your finishing.
  • Zero-torque putters: A recent phenomenon on the greens, featuring a haft that runs through the clubhead's center of gravity to reduce twisting and promote consistent straight shooting.
  • Women's putters: Specifically weighted and optimized to help female golfers achieve a more natural, comfortable setup over the ball.

Austad's pro tip: "Most amateurs struggle with distance control because their putter is too long, forcing them to stand too tall. When your eyes aren't directly over the ball, your brain struggles to map the line. A simple length adjustment can be the 'eureka' moment for your short game."

— Jared Greenfield, Austad's VP Merchandising

Putter buying guide

  • Toe hang vs. face balanced: If your putter arcs during your swing (think opening and closing like a door), you need a putter with a toe hang that’s weighted toward the end of the club face. If you keep the face square to the target line, a face-balanced putter will prevent you from pulling your putts.
  • Insert vs. milled face: Soft inserts provide a muted feel and offer consistent roll on faster greens. Milled steel faces offer crisper feedback and a more pronounced "click" on the ball. This can help you judge distance on slower surfaces. Also, think about the ball you typically use. A softer face will offer better control on firmer distance balls.
  • Grip size: Don't underestimate the handle. A fat or jumbo grip can quieten overactive wrists and reduce the impact if you get the yips as you look to sink that crucial putt on the 18th…

Putter FAQs

What putters do Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, or Bryson DeChambeau use?

Scheffler favors TaylorMade Spider Tour X, winning three of his four major titles since making the switch from Scotty Cameron in 2024. McIlroy is synonymous with the Spider series, while DeChambeau uses a specialized SIK putter with an arm-lock grip to take wrist action out of the equation.

How do I measure putter length?

To find your size, get a putter that allows you to stand in your normal putting stance with your club resting on the floor. Then, have someone measure from the center of the club face to the butt end of the grip. Don't assume that your height will decide the size. A taller golfer who prefers to bend over the ball to look down on it may require a shorter shaft than a playing partner who might give up a few inches in height but prefers a more upright putting stance.

How do I grip a golf putter?

There is no right way to grip a putter, as long as your method is comfortable and helps you keep the face square. As well as a conventional, open-palmed grip, you might want to try other options like the claw, the saw, and others that (sadly) don't hyme, like the pencil. A pendulum motion that uses your shoulder muscles, and not your hands, is the goal. A putter consultation from our Master Club Fitters can help you understand your putting style nd potentially discover a method that better suits your body or club.
