Do you offer custom club fitting at your stores?

Can you demo golf clubs in your stores?

You bet! Buying a golf club without testing it out is almost as bad as buying a new car without a test drive. We have demo clubs for all in-line clubs from major golf brands. It's recommended that you book an appointment to get fit, but if our bays are open you're welcome to give our clubs a test swing.

How much does it cost to regrip a club?

Installation is $4 per club plus the cost of the grip. If you do not purchase the grips at Austad's but would like them installed, the installation cost is $5 per club.

Are you able to adjust lie or loft on golf clubs?

Yes!  We can handle any lie or loft adjustment for your clubs.  In the off chance that we are unable to do this in-house we will work with the manufacturer to find you a solution.

How much does it cost to adjust the lie angle or loft on a golf club?

The cost is $7.50 per club.

How much does it cost to reshaft a golf club?

We charge $25 to reshaft a golf club.  That price does not include the actual club shaft.

Do you sell golf shafts?

Yes!  We sell shafts from all of the major manufacturers.  We recommend reaching out to your local Austad's Golf store to find out what we have in stock.

How much do shafts cost?

The price of a shaft varies depending on the manufacturer, shaft type and specs.  A generic steel shaft starts at $30 and graphite shafts will be slightly more expensive.  Prices can range in the hundreds for premium shafts.  Please reach out to our golf pros at your local Austad's Golf store for recommendations and details.

How much does it cost to shorten or lengthen a golf club?

The cost is $7.50-$10.00 per club depending on the type of shaft.

How much does it cost to reset a golf club head?

The cost is $15 to reset a club head at our repair center.

How much space do I need for a golf simulator?

Accepted Answer

At minimum, you’ll need a space 10' wide, 16' deep, and 8.5' high. Exact requirements vary based on the launch monitor and setup. We’ll provide a Room Dimension Confirmation Form to ensure proper fit.We recommend using your driver to test the space as well.  Swing slowly to make sure you can move comfortably without altering your golf swing.

How high do my ceilings need to be for an overhead launch monitor?

Most overhead launch monitors need to be mounted between 9–10 feet high, depending on the brand and model. We’ll help confirm exact requirements during the planning process.
